01Which wind direction works at Wassenaarse Slag
Wind from the northwest blows straight onto the beach. Safe is wind from southwest (222°) through northwest to north-northeast (32°).
- Side-onshore 235° to 285° and 325° to 15°: the best angle: you ride back and forth easily and the wind pushes you back to the sand.
- Straight onshore 285° to 325°: safe, you always wash up on the beach, but getting away from the shore takes effort.
- Side-shore 15° to 32° and 222° to 235°: good to ride, but you do not drift back by yourself; stay close to the shore.
- Offshore 32° to 222°: the wind blows you out to sea; Kitewind does not count these hours as a session.
