01Which wind direction works at Oostvoorne
Wind from the west-northwest blows straight onto the beach. Safe is wind from south-southwest (212°) through west-northwest to north-northeast (22°).
- Side-onshore 225° to 275° and 315° to 5°: the best angle: you ride back and forth easily and the wind pushes you back to the sand.
- Straight onshore 275° to 315°: safe, you always wash up on the beach, but getting away from the shore takes effort.
- Side-shore 5° to 22° and 212° to 225°: good to ride, but you do not drift back by yourself; stay close to the shore.
