01Which wind direction works at Muiderberg
Wind from the north blows straight onto the beach. Safe is wind from west-northwest (282°) through north to east (92°).
- Side-onshore 25° to 75° and 295° to 345°: the best angle: you ride back and forth easily and the wind pushes you back to the sand.
- Straight onshore 345° to 25°: safe, you always wash up on the beach, but getting away from the shore takes effort.
- Side-shore 75° to 92° and 282° to 295°: good to ride, but you do not drift back by yourself; stay close to the shore.
- Offshore 92° to 282°: the wind blows you out to sea; Kitewind does not count these hours as a session.

| Bottom and beach | You launch from a small grass field with trees. Space at the water's edge is limited. Because of the trees the wind is gusty, especially with a westerly wind. Launch your kite towards the water, not towards the trees. Wear water shoes: sharp mussels cause cuts. |
| Zones | In the swimming season there is a line of floats around the swimming area. You may not kite there. Kiting in the shipping channel is banned. Kiting at the harbour is banned. Keep well clear of the pier to the east and the shipping channel to the north-east. Kiting is allowed all year round. |
| Level | Suitable for beginners. Launch from the water, because the launch spot is small. It can get busy here. |
| Parking and facilities | Parking is free. The car park by the water fills up quickly. Parking along the road gets you a fine. When it is very busy, the car park of the football club to the west can open. Toilet at the marina, a bit further along. |
