01Which wind direction works at Domburg
Wind from the north-northwest blows straight onto the beach. Safe is wind from west-southwest (244°) through north-northwest to northeast (54°).
- Side-onshore 260° to 310° and 350° to 40°: the best angle: you ride back and forth easily and the wind pushes you back to the sand.
- Straight onshore 310° to 350°: safe, you always wash up on the beach, but getting away from the shore takes effort.
- Side-shore 40° to 54° and 244° to 260°: good to ride, but you do not drift back by yourself; stay close to the shore.
- Offshore 54° to 244°: the wind blows you out to sea; Kitewind does not count these hours as a session.
